Lorene LaBerge, Director

Sing to Me is a presentation of Lorene LaBerge, B.S in Music Education from Wilkes University, a former music teacher for the Baltimore County Schools, and a mom who has used Sing to Me principles with all three of her children.

Mrs. LaBerge, a licensed Music Together® Director, has completed her Level III Kodaly Certification at the The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. She is a member of the VoiceCare Network, The Organization of Kodaly Educators and the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association.

She is a former faculty member of the The Children's Chorus of Maryland where she applied her expertise in early childhood music. Mrs. LaBerge is presently teaching music for the Towson Presbyterian Preschooland The Ashland Preschool Center and director of the Cherub Choir at Towson Presbyterian Church.

Lucy Meyer’s experience and enthusiasm for teaching young children truly shows through the positive response and significant progress of her students. As a dedicated piano teacher for the last 10 years, her teaching style and methods have refined in a way that can adapt to different styles of learning. From piano studies that date back to 9 years of age, to the accumulated work in college, she has studied with international and highly acclaimed pianists, namely Dr. Hsiu-Hui Wang of the Gemini Piano Trio, Eva Mengelkoch, and Reynaldo Reyes. Lucy has shared the stage with the Goucher Symphony Orchestra, and has also played for recitals, concerts, and master classes which include those of world-renowned Michael Tree of the Guarneri Quartet, Miami String Quartet and Gemini Piano Trio. Lucy holds degrees from Towson University (B.A. Music, Piano Performance Concentration), and Howard Community College (A.A. Music, Piano Performance Concentration). Lucy Meyer has completed her Music Together Training in March 2014.
